Make a Statement with Copper-Colored Makeup: Check Out My FOTD
Since when did I last do a Face of the Day? Yesterday, I played around with an eyeshadow pigment that I purchased a few weeks ago and decided to blog about it.
My hair was recently recolored and is now a deep, bright copper color. Darling Girl Brocade duochrome pigment is a wine-colored shade with strong copper undertones. It was a good idea to use a setting mist this time. It was in a sample of Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray, which I knew I had in my collection. But I could not find it. So I bought a Coola Travel Size Setting Spray with SPF. It makes applying pigment so easy! Set the pigment with a setting spray, then tap the pigment onto the lid of the jar, or a small palette. Dip the brush in and apply it to your lid. It was applied over Urban Decay Anti-Aging Eye Primer. The color didn’t fade, nor did it fall out. It looked too good to take off.
For a bronzed look, I applied a NARS Lip Pencil that I received as a Sephora birthday gift two years ago. I then covered the lip pencil with Darling Girl’s 3D Balm Gloss in Leeloo.
This is what I use:
- Urban Decay Anti-aging Eye Primer
- Darling Girl Brocade pigment eyeshadow: The shade to the right
- Coola Makeup setting spray Green Tea & Aloe 30 SPF
- Smashbox Billionaire 3D Eyeliner Crayon, Always Sharp
- Benefit Roller Lash Mascara
- Cover Blend Treatment Makeup with SPF 30. Bisque: This foundation has a full, even coverage that is easy to apply.
- Stila Sunset serenade Convertible lip and cheek color: shades Gerbera & Camellia
- NARS Satin Lip Pencil, Rikugien
- Darling Girl 3D Balm, Leeloo
Copper colors, though I love neutrals and pinks as well, are my favorites. What shades are your favorites?
