You know I love bar soaps, especially soap made from natural and organic ingredients.

Citrus Lavender Cleansing Bar

I’ve been using Citrus Lavender for about the past two or three weeks, and I love it. It fits perfectly in my hand for use in the shower. It’s a light orange shade that fits with its citrusy scent. Though it is Citrus Lavender, citrus is the dominant note. If I hadn’t read that it has lavender in it, I wouldn’t have known. Since I’m a big citrus scent fan, I am delighted. The scent is stimulating in the morning, but it’s relaxing to use at night as well. The scent is light rather than strong.

Pure Citrus Lavender Cleansing Bar is made from coconut oil and orange and lavender essential oils. The hypoallergenic cleansing bar contains NO sulfates (SLS, SLES, SCS), triclosan, formaldehyde, salicylates, PEGs, parabens, phosphates, MEA, DEA, TEA, gluten, petroleum-based ingredients, animal by-products, perfumes, dyes or caustics. I agree with their description 100%. It lathers up easily, and it makes enough suds that I use it to shave with. It doesn’t strip the oils from my dry skin at all but leaves it lightly hydrated though not hydrated enough to skip using body lotion.

Basically, the information on the Lemongrass variant is the same as for Citrus Lavender. It is made from a blend of coconut oil and the essential oils of lemongrass, bergamot and sage. I love lemongrass and bergamot, and like the Citrus Lavender, it’s a wonderful gender-neutral scent.
