Shop the Site Wide Sale at City Beauty

City Beauty appears to have taken the advice I gave them, LOL. A few months back, City Beauty asked its affiliates for their suggestions on how to move forward. I proposed that they increase site-wide sales, rather than just specific product sales. They seem to be doing this, yay. You don’t need to wait for the product you use or mine to be on sale.

City Beauty has a sitewide sale through July 8th. Use the code FIREWORKS25 to get 25% off.

For “insiders”, Multi-Action Sculpting Cream is also on sale. This cream, which I love, has been a bestseller for me. To be considered an “insider”, I think you need to subscribe to emails. As the emails were usually about sales, I registered a few years ago. Sale price for one jar is $40 (down from $67), and price drops as you purchase more jars. If you purchase 3 jars of the lowest priced product, a bottle Body Sculpting Cream is included for free. Now is a great time to purchase Multi Action Sculpting Cream if you are a big fan like me.

Paula’s choice 5% Niacinamide body serum

Paula’s Choice has recently been generous with me. They sent me the No-Hype Baseball Hat a couple of weeks back. It’s very cute. Functional, sun-shading long bill. This summer and in the fall, I will wear it a lot.

Paula’s choice sent me another package last week. Body care products are increasingly incorporating ingredients from facial skincare. Why not? Active ingredients are also needed to care for the skin.

Their new Body Serum contains Niacinamide, a vitamin B3. Niacinamide is often referred to as the “jack of all trades” in skincare. The skin is better able to maintain moisture because it improves its barrier function. It treats hyperpigmentation and shrinks pore size. It is still effective at 2-4% concentrations.

This promotional package contains the best-selling Clinical Niacinamide 20 % Treatment for Face. Paula’s Choice Niacinamide booster has a 10% concentration, and I was curious to see what the 20% concentration would be like. I may find it too powerful for my skin. It’s more suitable for people with acne, enlarged pores or visible pores.

  • Visibly reinforces stretched pores
  • Reduces orange peel texture and bumps
  • Improves skin tone, and reduces the appearance of post-blemishes.

Keep an eye on my next giveaway. You never know, PC Clinical Niacinamide 20 Treatment for the Face might be included in my next giveaway.

In the past I have chosen body care products based on firming and hydration. Paula’s Choice’s new 5% Niacinamide body serum has been developed for:

  • even skintone
  • Reduce signs of ageing
  • Strengthen the skin barrier

The new Niacinamide Body Serum 5% may strengthen my skin barrier and help me retain more moisture. My arms and legs have sun spots that haven’t been faded. This new serum is lightweight, so I can add a moisturiser on top to help hydrate. It just arrived, so I haven’t used it yet. In a couple of weeks, I will report on my progress.

The price of Paula’s 5% Niacinamide body serum is $29 per 4 fl. Paula’s Choice’s website lists the price of 4 fl.
