Experience Intense Hydration with Inisfree’s Hydrating Toner
Inisfree Hydrating Toner: Experience Intense Hydration
When I had finished my Pixi Rose Toner I wanted to try something else. Innisfree’s Intensive Hydrating Toner with Green Tea seed was on sale at Sephora for 20% during the holiday sales.
Innisfree Skin Care Products
I have only tried a couple of Innisfree products that I believe I got in my Ipsy bag when I first subscribed. It was several years ago.
Innisfree, a Korean beauty brand that is associated with the AmorePacific luxury brand, has been on my mind for a while. Innisfree is Scottish, I thought! Yikes. Then I realized I had confused Innisfree, a town near Point Reyes CA, with Inverness. Inverness CA, I think, was named in 1889 after Inverness in Scotland by James Shafter. He developed that area of Marin county. William Butler Yeats, who was Irish and not Scottish, wrote “The Lake Isle of Innisfree” a lyrical song about longing for a peaceful, beautiful island, like Inisfree, instead of his urban life. That’s the end of my confusion
Innisfree, however, is a Korean beauty brand which uses ingredients responsibly and sustainably obtained from Korea’s Jeju Island. This volcanic region has fertile soil. Innisfree has been and always will be a brand that promotes “clean beauty”.
Innisfree and Green Tea Cultivation
Innisfree spent many years cultivating organic green tea on the volcanic black soil of Jeju Island. The green tea fields are USDA Certified Organic and considered to be among the best of their kind in the entire world. It has spent many years studying the skin benefits of green. The company has 178 green tea patents and studied all the parts of the plant, including the stem, leaf, and root. They also have a proprietary extracting process that captures the essences. This highly concentrated green tea extract is clinically proven by the company to be more effective than purified water in hydrating the skin. It also delivers fresh amino acids and nutrients to enhance the protective barrier of the skin.
Innisfree intensive hydrating toner with green tea seed
I love green tea extracts in my skincare products. The Tony Moly Watery Green Tea Essence is something I use every day.
Innisfree makes a green-tea toner and I thought that pairing them together might be able to help me retain moisture on my dry skin. I bought innisfree intensive hydrating toner with green tea seed at the Sephora Sale, and am glad I did.
The Intensive Hydrogenating Toner Green Tea Seed is similar to water in consistency. Toner is dispensed from the heavy plastic bottle through a small hole on the top. The toner is either shook onto a cotton pad or my hands for the nightly routine. The scent is a slight green tea. Innisfree suggests applying it two to three times, before continuing with your skin care routine. Since I use Tony Moly’s Green Tea Watery essence during the day, I only apply it once. In the evening, I use oils.
Innisfree describes the following benefits:
This lightweight toner contains antioxidants, amino acids, and the green tea oil from innisfree’s USDA certified organic fields (Control Union Certifications CUC). It helps to prepare skin for your rest of routine, while maintaining its moisture barrier.
Dry skin and normal skin can benefit from this product.

The New Innisfree Hyaluronic Acid Toner With Green Tea Seed
As I was writing my review, I searched for Innisfree’s toner on Sephora.com. I found a toner that is slightly different with green tea: Innisfree Green Tea Seed Hyaluronic Acid Toner. This new product, which seems to replace the toner I purchased (although the Innisfree site still lists both), contains five types of hyaluronic acids and is packaged in a clear glass bottle. You can see from the list of ingredients below that this product contains additional hydrating components in addition to 5 HAs. These include Lactobacillus ferment, Squalane and Vitamin E. It also has other ingredients I do not know, as well as stabilisers Xanthan Gum, Cellulose Gum, as well as other ingredients. It costs $22 more for a little less product (5.41 fl. oz./160 ml.
Full ingredient list: Water/Aqua/ Eau, Butylene Glycol, Propanediol, Glycerin, 1,2-Hexanediol, Trehalose, Panthenol, Polyglycerin-3, Ppg-13-Decyltetradeceth-24, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Lactobacillus Ferment Lysate, Xanthan Gum, Ethylhexylglycerin, Fragrance/Parfum, Disodium Edta, Cellulose Gum, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Squalane, Camellia Sinensis Seed Oil, Lactic Acid, Linalool, Limonene, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, Hyaluronic Acid, Acrylates/Stearyl Methacrylate Copolymer, Tremella Fuciformis Sporocarp Extract, Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate, Tocopherol, Ceramide Np.
The new combination product is worth it if you have good results with hyaluronic acids and do not already use HA as a moisturizer or serum. The toner is on sale on the Innisfree site. I’ll pick up another bottle before they disappear!
